Goes Above & Beyond
Founded in 2006 by nuclear engineer-turned-consultant Rich Boehling and business executive Louis Sabetti, Productiv grew out of the need to solve manufacturing client challenges associated with cost overruns and missed deadlines in labor-intensive processes.
The initial goal was to address bottlenecks in fill lines and packaging departments. In the process, Productiv revolutionized traditional temp staffing by embedding as a partner within the clients' operations, managing the entire entry-level labor force. This approach took Productiv from tackling large seasonal programs to maintaining permanent onsite presences—and, for some clients, handling all warehousing labor tasks.
As the company evolved, clients began requesting offsite project handling to free up floor space and Productiv began its 3PL Solutions business in 2016. Starting with two buildings in North Carolina and Virginia totaling 100k square feet, Productiv now operates 1 million square feet across seven warehouses and continues to serve clients on their own manufacturing floors, offering transformative solutions in labor and warehousing.
Dating back to our beginnings more than 15 years ago, Productiv founder Rich Boehling has a track record of partnering with entrepreneurs who are passionate about production, logistics, and supply chain management.
That’s why we created the Productiv Edge, an incubation program that exists to help launch supply chain ideas by providing technical, operational and financial support.
If selected for Productiv Edge, founders can expect to follow a phased program (Hatch, Fledge, Fly) that follows a young company through its first three years of operation.
